Sister Frankie Jones

Sister Frankie Jones was born and raised in Queens, New York.  She was saved at an early age and was a member of Washington Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop F. D. Washington.  She moved with her parents to Lincoln, Nebraska, where her father was a pastor and superintendent. After graduating from high school, she attended Creighton University, where she majored in political science and minored in business. It was at Creighton where she met the love of her life, Michael Jones. While she attended law school at Creighton, her husband Michael was a student attending the dental school at Creighton. In 1993 they both graduated, and she moved to Phoenix with him.

Since being in Phoenix, she has worked as a deputy county attorney for 21 years, an associate for several years in private practice, and currently is one of the judges at the Phoenix Municipal Court. She serves on several Arizona Supreme Court committees and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Arizona Black Bar.

Frankie was a member of Emmanuel COGIC under Bishop Felton King and, in 1999, joined Prayer Assembly under Pastor Edward G. Carter. Frankie continues to be an active member of Prayer Assembly, where she serves as Sunday school teacher, an elder’s wife, and director of the Kids in Praise. Besides being active with her church family, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 31 years and their two sons, Michael Jr. and Christopher.
