Spotlight Norma Wilson
Day after day for twenty-plus years, Missionary Norma Wilson has let her light shine at Mountain View Church (MVC). She has been a vital part of the church community and family by helping in a lot of wonderful ways. She works tirelessly as the Y.W.C.C President. This year, she hosted her twelfth annual Women’s Seminar. She has done all this while being a devoted wife and mother, after the pattern of Proverbs 31.
Over the last several years, Missionary Wilson coordinated and participated in Mountain View’s Walk-A-Thon, raising enough funds to conduct seminars free for all women to attend (church members and guests). This is an example of her well-known warmth and hospitality. She truly obeys the biblical direction: “Use hospitality one to another without grudging” (1 Peter 4:9). She has also been involved in several ministries by volunteering for most tasks and giving of her time and talents. Speaking about talent, she has two hobbies we like to highlight: first, her ability to make lip balm, deodorant, lotions, etc. and second, she is gifted in creating beautiful gift baskets. This woman of God understands and takes every opportunity to serve the Lord, as in 1 Timothy 5:10.
Missionary Wilson is a friend, mentor, motivator, role model, and spiritual leader to our women. She has set an example to be followed in the future, and for this, she is cherished by all of us. Missionary Wilson is appreciated for her unwavering support and unrelenting guidance that helped in leading our path to success. Mountain View women are so grateful and proud of her for all she’s accomplished and thank her for her service to the MVC Women’s Ministry. Likewise, El Shaddai District has been blessed by her willingness to serve in many ways.
