Spotlight on Anita Hull
Born in Los Angeles, California, Missionary Mother Anita Hull's journey with Christ began in May 1986 at the Oldtime Holiness Revival Center Church. Raised in a holiness household, she embraced her faith wholeheartedly. Over the years, Mother Hull, a mother of six biological children and an adopted son, has held various positions within the church, excluding that of a first lady or pastor.
Her dedication to service extends beyond her immediate family; she considers herself blessed to be a mother to her God-sent adopted son. With eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Mother Hull cherishes the role of a matriarch in her extended family.
For over three decades, she served as an outreach missionary, tirelessly feeding and clothing the less fortunate. Mother Hull also ran a hospital ministry, offering comfort and prayer to the sick and dying. During her 35 years at the Oldtime Holiness Revival Center Church, in Los Angeles, under the leadership of Bishop Shelby Hurns Sr. and Mother Merlene Hurns, she exhibited unwavering dedication to her Lord.
Despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of a son during a revival in 1992, Mother Hull has remained a faithful servant of God. In the last three years, she has continued her journey with the Higher Ground Church of God in Christ, led by Pastor Earnest Fitzhugh and First Lady Cheryln Fitzhugh. Mother Hull continues to be a prayer warrior, willing to share the Word and always willing to serve wherever she is needed. Mother Anita Hull's life is a testament to her enduring faith, selfless service, and resilience in the face of adversity.
