Niamey Thomas
Niamey Thomas is a member of Prayer Assembly COGIC (PACOGIC). While attending Arizona State University, Niamey experienced her first mission trips, spreading the gospel over the west coast with Campus Crusade for Christ. She became a youth leader at PACOGIC as the praise dance leader in 2013 and a Bible teacher in 2017. Niamey leads a women’s Bible study since 2016. She has a heart for helping young women find their identity in Christ.
Niamey graduated from Elevate International Antioch Discipleship and Arts program (2017), where she learned how to be a disciple implementing projects and initiatives to enrich the community through art. She is a graduate from AmeriCorps Public Ally program (2018) where she continued to strengthen community efforts and engagement. She uses her dance and teaching gift on mission trips; Puerto Rico, Atlanta, and Oregon are a few places she has visited. She uses art, dance, and technology to share the love of Christ.
Currently, Niamey is a dance professor at Grand Canyon University, where she is teaching the connection between hip hop, community, and God. Niamey hopes to continue teaching the gospel, dancing and performing, and visiting other countries and states sharing the love of God and hoping to grow deeper in the Lord.

She studied Brazilian Portuguese in college, and is working on becoming a polyglot (fluently speaking 5 or more languages).
Her name is a city in Niger, Africa.
She danced for the Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad in 2017.
